Allow Me To Reintroduce Myself And Talk Your SAAS

Welcome back SAAS tribe, I'm your incredible host Jeneba Wint, also known as Jenn Talks Tech!

If you've reconnected with us via email, social media, or your podcast app, we're genuinely stoked you're here. Your presence means the world to us, and we're immensely grateful for your ongoing support.

So, where have I been, you ask? Well, I've been on a well-deserved break getting crystal-clear clarity on what I want to do next. That led me to Talk Your SAAS getting a big upgrade.

Talk Your Sass has always been about Self as a Service (SaaS), a play on Software as a Service (SaaS). But it's also about encouraging you to "talk your sh**" and show up as the very best version of yourself. For those who've followed me online, you might remember my beautiful newsletter, "Tribe of Self." Well, it's making a comeback. It's fascinating how life's threads weave together, and I'm bringing back the world of writing, fusing it with the audio realm.

So, what's the new Talk Your Sass all about? It's all about being the bet and most favorite version of yourself. It's about self-development, self-actualization, and the journey to becoming your best self. We'll dive into all aspects of life, from careers to motherhood, marriage, sisterhood, and the entire tapestry of existence. It's all about embracing your inner boss and pursuing your wildest dreams. Expect some fantastic guest appearances to keep the party going!

We're sticking to our Saturday podcast drop schedule, though weekly episodes are a possibility. No pressure, though. You'll find mini-episodes ranging from 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the vibe.

We're exploring topics like the soft life, mindset, and the art of curating your best self. Plus, we'll chat about confidence and all my favorite topics that make life amazing.

So, the next episode we're kicking off the brand new Talk Your Sass, focusing on the big, bold energy of being yourself. Share the love, hit that save and download button. Let's keep talking our SaaS, showing up, and shining bright. Until next time, keep being amazing!

Welcome back to Talk Your Sass.

2

:

This is your host, Jeneba Wint also

known on the internet as Jenn Talks Tech.

3

:

I'm so happy to have you all back.

4

:

If you came back and joined me, if you

are listening to this, if this popped

5

:

back into your email, social media,

whatever, I'm so happy to have you.

6

:

I'm so grateful.

7

:

I appreciate you rocking

with me, coming back again.

8

:

Because it's been a long time.

9

:

I've been on hiatus.

10

:

I know.

11

:

Don't ask me.

12

:

Um, , I've been resting y'all, I've been

relaxing, I've been getting my mind right.

13

:

I've been getting clear, getting

clarity on what needs to happen,

14

:

what I need to put my energy into.

15

:

And rebranding this podcast.

16

:

So, Talk Your Sass is not

going to be about tech anymore.

17

:

Or tech careers or my

journey in my career.

18

:

Talk Your Sass, which the whole

time, stood for Self as a Service.

19

:

it was a play on words for Software as a

Service, which is what SASS stands for.

20

:

But, Talk Your Sass was originally

like, Saying talk your shit.

21

:

I'm showing up as You being the best

version of yourself if you have been

22

:

following me on the Internet's for a

while You know, I used to have this

23

:

newsletter this beautiful newsletter

called tribe of self and I'm kind of

24

:

going back to that it's so funny how

things come full circle and how I've

25

:

been really studying how threads and

Um, not Instagram threads, how threads

26

:

or different things kind of like follow

you and you can always see a pattern.

27

:

I love to write and so I'm kind

of combining both worlds, my audio

28

:

world with my old writing world.

29

:

And bringing them back in.

30

:

It's going to be a mashup of both.

31

:

So Talk Your Sass, going forward,

is going to be about self

32

:

development, self actualization,

being the best version of yourself.

33

:

it's going to be about my life and,

and how I'm doing that in my life.

34

:

So it'll have some of career.

35

:

It'll have some of motherhood, marriage,

um, sisterhood, just navigating the

36

:

parts of life and just showing up big

boss stuff, whatever it is that you.

37

:

Want to show up as and be basically and

just my journey in that and then I'm gonna

38

:

have some friends some guests Come on, and

they're gonna share their journeys in that

39

:

and it's gonna be a party so that's talk

your sass and what what I've been doing

40

:

is Really just focusing on how I want this

new iteration of talk your sass To how I

41

:

wanted to look how I wanted to feel how

I wanted to resonate with all of you um

42

:

and just Growing up talk your sass and

the next version of it and what it's going

43

:

to be and what it's going to look like.

44

:

So I hope that is still of interest to

you and I hope that still hits with y'all

45

:

and um, that you will come on this journey

with me and listen to these next episodes.

46

:

I'm still gonna drop

episodes on Saturdays.

47

:

And so I haven't really decided

Whether I could show up weekly or not.

48

:

We'll see.

49

:

I'm not trying to put a

lot of pressure on myself.

50

:

So We'll see if weekly is is on the

horizon but still on Saturdays And you're

51

:

gonna get these mini sodes, um, sometimes

you'll get a 15 minute episode, sometimes

52

:

you'll get a 30 minute episode, and if

we are really having fun, With a guest,

53

:

maybe you'll get a 45 minute episode.

54

:

I don't know, but that's

what I'm going for.

55

:

And these first couple

of episodes will be solo.

56

:

Um, and I'm also thinking about

doing fun series, on things on

57

:

everything from soft life to.

58

:

, to mindset, to how do you even

show up as your best self?

59

:

How do you curate your best self?

60

:

Um, we're going to be

talking about that too.

61

:

We're going to be talking about

confidence, all of my luxury, all

62

:

of my favorite topics right now are

going to show up on this podcast,

63

:

because like I said, I'm bringing you.

64

:

More into my world, my life, my

mindset, my thought process on things.

65

:

And I think that's,

this is going to be fun.

66

:

Um, I think talking about tech

only, or talking about tech

67

:

careers was very limiting for me.

68

:

I have also been creating

a whole new brand.

69

:

. That many of you have seen online

called bloomology, and that is where

70

:

I will be career focused, , and

everything careers, tech and tech media.

71

:

So you could go on to the bloomology.

72

:

com in about 30 days, you'll

see what that site and what that

73

:

content is going to look like.

74

:

And then I'm going to have a media

site, probably called the bloom report.

75

:

Which is my tech newsletter that

is coming out or that has been

76

:

out for about two months now.

77

:

So I have been working on

that and writing over there.

78

:

So yeah, that's, that's it guys.

79

:

That's, that's what I'm working

on and that's where I've been.

80

:

I've been going to in person

events, um, I've been traveling.

81

:

Summer has been.

82

:

Super lit.

83

:

If this summer went by faster

than any other summer as of late,

84

:

I need y'all to let me know,

because this summer was a joke.

85

:

This summer went by so fast, I feel like

I've been on the go the entire summer.

86

:

Summer was booked and busy.

87

:

I don't know if I've spent

two consecutive weekends.

88

:

Just at home doing nothing, which is rare.

89

:

So, yeah, summer has been go, go, go.

90

:

Which I'm happy for because

I got to be in the streets.

91

:

I got to be, I got to travel.

92

:

Um, did it, did two, well,

one international trip

93

:

in summer, one in spring.

94

:

Then go on to friends houses.

95

:

Made a trip back home to the DMV.

96

:

, so summer was lit.

97

:

I was out here.

98

:

So It gave me a lot of time to do

this kind of work this rebranding this

99

:

reflecting This re imagining of how I

want my brands, my personal brand and

100

:

my businesses and my side hustles to

look, , how I want them to grow and scale.

101

:

And so I, I am working on

a whole bunch of things.

102

:

, Obviously still work in tech, and that's

a whole nother situation that I'm not

103

:

going to really talk about here that much.

104

:

Um, I'm just working and trying

to grow my expertise , in service

105

:

design and in systems thinking

so that I could be a consultant

106

:

because I'm tired of working also.

107

:

Hopefully in the next year or

two, I will be transitioning out

108

:

of just like a nine to five and,

and being a full time consultant.

109

:

that's always what I saw

for myself, , career wise.

110

:

So.

111

:

Putting in the work now to be able

to create that career journey and

112

:

create their career path for myself.

113

:

So that's all I'll say on careers.

114

:

, that's it.

115

:

So this next episode, you will hear Talk

Your Sass coming back and we will be

116

:

talking about just life and big Talk Your

Sass energy, big showing up as yourself.

117

:

And what that looks like

and what that means.

118

:

So as usual, share this with a friend.

119

:

120

:

things, and I will talk to you next time.

121
